Rev Jeremiah Wright – Obama’s Minister of Hate & Racism

Obama and the Minister

In a sermon delivered at Howard University, Barack Obama’s longtime minister, friend and adviser blamed America for starting the AIDS virus, training professional killers, importing drugs and creating a racist society that would never elect a black candidate president.

The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor of Mr. Obama’s Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, gave the sermon at the school’s Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel in Washington on Jan. 15, 2006.

For months now Political Night Train has been writing about Senator Obama’s pastor, mentor, friend, and advisor, Rev Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.  Just in the past couple weeks, since the last Obama-Hillary Debate, has the mainstream press started to pay closer attention to their relationship.  Rev. Wright is a thousand pound weight around Obama’s neck, and the price of association with the minister will cost him the election in the fall.  Political Night Train believes Senator Obama must do the following within the next two weeks, and before the next Obama-Hillary debate, and surely before the next primary:

1. Openly denounce Wright in the strongest terms possible.  Mince no words, parse no words, aka Bill & Hillary Clinton.

2. Withdraw his family’s membership in Trinity United Church of Christ.

If Obama can, and will do these two things, and do them openly and loudly, he stands a chance of winning in November.  Don’t do these things in the next two weeks and the Clintons will continue to blast Obama daily through their shills and surrogates.

  1. I’ve been waiting to see if MSNBC and CNN would continue their black-out of the story, or if their talking-heads would try to spin it as “courageous”. Where is Keith Olbermann to tell us what terrible examples of humanity Hillary and McCain are? It is NO coincidence that Michelle Obama has not felt proud of America until now. Now…..that she and her husband are close to the White House. It is no coincidence that Barack didn’t place his hand over his heart. At first I thought he was just lost in thought, but not anymore, I think it was calculated. Trust me, his loyal minions will try to spin this whole thing, try to convince us that he doesn’t believe as his Pastor does. Don’t believe it. Any man that attends a church for twenty years, considers the Pastor his spiritual mentor, and gives money to that church, is drinking the Kool-aid.
Obama is smart enough to know that his deepest thoughts might anger or scare most Americans, very likely he only shares them with his inner circle. I ferverently hope Democrats use some common sense and vote of Hillary, as imperfect as she may be. I know this much, she really does love this country, and she really is ready to work her heart out for the American people.

  2. Now that we have learned the outrageous racist remarks by Rev. Jeremiah Wright and the participation of Barack Obama, it is no longer reasonable to give Obama a pass by saying this is only guilt by association.

This is NOT guilt by association, but rather guilt by participation.

    Consider:

    1. Rev. Jeremiah Wright married Michelle and Barack Obama
    2. He baptized their children
    3. Barack sat in the pews listening to these racist sermons for 20 years
    4. The title of Barack’s book “The Audacity of Hope” originated from a Rev Wright sermon.
    5. And the most telling is Obama’s support for these racist remarks by promoting the Rev as a Spiritual Advisor during his campaign.

Obama is now, and will continue to try and distance himself from Wright by “saying” he disagrees with Wright’s racist remarks.

However, there is a saying, “If a person’s words are congruent with their actions, you can believe their words. If however, their words say one thing while their actions say another – never believe their words – always believe their actions.”

  3. This makes John Kerry’s problems with the swift-boat vets look minor. If this doesn’t sink Obama nothing will.

  4. Jeremiah Wright’s radical views were no secret. They have been a topic on talk radio for months while there has been a de facto MSM blackout of Barack’s church. It is interesting that Wright’s views were little discussed while Mitt’s church received intense religious scrutiny. To borrow a phrase, it has taken a while for the chickens to come home to roost.

  5. Correct in your assessment. Even if Obama leaves Trinity Church, there will still be questions as to why he tolerated and accepted Wright’s anti-American and racist rants for 20 years. This is a peek inside what goes on in many black churchs across America. Most likely, this will bring down the Obama campaign, and we all know who is pushing this – Hillary. Her campaign has rumored for months that they had dirt on Obama and this is it. It will only get worse as details come out, especially Michelle Obama’s role in Trinity Church.

  6. Send this video to others: Shame On Joe Scarborough, MSM & Obama the way they reacted to Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s sermon about 9/11 Part 1
The American people don’t deserve to be manipulated and lied to
